Remember, your kitty has very sensitive ears. Certain types of music will annoy your kitty, and you should avoid playing these. This includes opera, disco, and any music in which dogs and trucks are glorified.

If you are learning to play an instrument, practice it anywhere other than the house. Your efforts bother the kitty. Heck, stab yourself in the ear with a Q-tip. That's what it feels like.

Do not complain if your kitty sits outside your bedroom door at three in the morning and sings as loudly as he can. These concerts are for your entertainment. Curl up and enjoy them. Do not tell the kitty to shut up, or the kitty will do unspeakable things in one of your shoes.
